Logging simulator time should be easy, right? In actual practice it requires a healthy dose of legal interpretation into terminology, regulations and the actual FAA authorization letter for your specific training device or flight simulator.
In fact, as a General Aviation (GA) pilot, its unlikely you will ever gain access to a full fledged flight simulator. Most of the units available to the GA community are called training devices.
Attend our San Marcos (KHYI) Instrument Meteorological Club's Zoom meeting this coming Thursday, Feb 18 and find out how you can legally build hours for the Private or Instrument rating. Also see how to legally log those hours.
See the KHYI IMC Facebook Group at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2209686922663000
to join both the Facebook Group and the KHYI IMC email list and receive your Zoom login credentials.
