Flight Instructor: Ryan DePascalis

Ryan began his aviation career in 2019, completing his private, instrument, commercial and CFI ratings right here at Black Hound Aviation.  Since he was 6 years old, Ryan began flying as an unaccompanied minor on major airlines traveling from where he grew up in Iowa to visit his Dad in Texas.  From that time until today, he has always enjoyed the airport environment and airplanes.

After graduating from high school he was unsure of his career path.  After a nudge from his father, an airline captain, he took a Discovery Flight.  From that moment forward he knew he wanted to make flying a career and to someday fly for a major airliner.
